Here’s a throwback for you. This was us setting off on my very first tour. Myself, Matt, Joe, and Des (the founding members!) We borrowed Matt’s Dad’s trailer and pulled it behind our buddy Jacks truck. Joe Langham and I had to schedule it between classes at @mihollywood. We played 2 shows in California, almost fell asleep trying to make it 3 hours into Tahoe. We played a show in the rain and snow outside at an ice rink that night, drove all night to Cheyenne Wyoming where we volunteered to play the Crown Bar downtown for free because it was better than just sleeping ... continued on to Denver where we played to zero people for 4 days at a Toby Keith bar right before it went out of business and heard about this mysterious Grizzly Rose place we needed to play, drove all the way back to Reno to play in the Art Museum, and drove all day the next day to So Cal so we didn’t mess up the plans for Matt’s Surprise Bday Party. Scary thing is it wasn’t that long ago 😳 #tbt @matticuscarter @langhamjoe30
Thinking about the Carolinas today... 2 weeks ago it was the prettiest and coolest part of the country I’ve ever seen, can’t imagine what it looks like when this hurricane is done. Get out of there if you’re in it’s path and stay safe! 😥

This is a crazy week. You’d be shocked what a day in the life behind this damn instagram is. Red eye flights, delays, Uber’s all day long. 24 hours in Nashville jam packed with meetings and media stuff. Unpack my monthly Red Bull shipment and drink 13 of them. Phone calls with radio stations and conference calls with social media people... and two shows I can’t wait to play: Wed in Truckee CA and Thursday in Mill Valley CA. Then we’ll do it all over again next week. Wouldn’t trade it for nothin. 😤
Finally back in Nashville tomorrow to see this sunset again. Another crazy week coming up 🤦🏻‍♂️
